Quick History:

Over 85 years ago, Tombigbee Electric Power Association was formed to bring reliable and affordable electric power to rural areas of Northeast Mississippi.  Today, Tombigbee has over 44,500 members.  Tombigbee’s mission includes improving the quality of life for its membership.

While technology continues to change, Tombigbee’s mission still holds true.  In August 2019, the Tombigbee Board of Directors voted to provide state of the art high speed broadband internet access to its membership.  This endeavor will include building almost 4,000 miles of fiber and investing 95 million dollars to provide much-needed internet access to all Tombigbee members through its subsidiary Tombigbee Fiber, LLC.

Tombigbee continues to work and build upon its long-standing foundation and remains as committed today as in the past to address the needs of its members.  Thank you for allowing us to serve you.
